Step 5.
Download our flyer (HERE) in support of our strike and rally, then tape this flyer to at least 3 of your garbage bags on garbage nights! Post one flyer facing up the block (where people can see it) the other flyer facing down the block, and a middle flyer, in between all of your trash bags, for everyone to read, and then to scan the QR code as they walk by. This QR code will take them to our website, NYCBuildingSuperS.com
In addition, Stop by your local hardware store and ask them if they can tape our WE SUPPORT OUR SUPERINTDENTDENTS flyer near their cash register!
Where us Supers & Porters shop several times a week!
This is an effort to get more superintendents and porters to join our movement and to join our protest starting on October 7th, as well as our rally on October 9th at 12 PM.
STEP 6.
Every Superintendet & Porter should print out 50 flyers per month and then hand them out all over their neighborhood leading up to their elections on November 7th.
Don't be shy!
The harder we work, the sooner we will have our lives back folks!
Step 7.
Call and email your City Council Member using the City Council Member Finder Below. Remember they are not taking responsibility for this regulation and have been blaming the Department of Sanitation for this debacle - Don't buy it! We elected them into office, not DSNY!

(OPTIONAL)
Consider downloading the address label template below that has all of our City Council members addresses on it and send them each a copy of the letter or email you had written to them. I've been sending each of our council members a letter every month along with copies of my articles
since April of this year.
(Link to labels will be added Later)
Adjust as you go...
None of this is set in stone.
But remember this: Fighting for your rights WILL get messy. And ultimately this will be up to you. So you'll need to ask yourself, eventually - Will I be able to roll up my sleeves and get dirty?
That choice belongs to you.
